The Administrative and Counselors offices will be open during the following hours during the summer:
8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (June 3 - July 19)
For information on registration, you may click on Counselors above. Registration for new students begins June 3, and is by appointment only. To schedule your appointment contact the school at 601-859-6150.
ALL English classes will have assigned summer reading which will be tested during the first weeks of class, so please have the books read. Also, please have a copy of the book with you during the opening of school. You don’t need to buy a copy (a library book will work just fine), but local bookstores will be asked to keep copies of these titles in stock.
Also, you will need to fill out one set of the Major Work Data Sheets for each book you’re assigned. Copies of the sheets can be printed below, or they may be picked up from the school’s front office. Only work filled out on one of these sheets will be accepted. If you are assigned more than one book, you will need to fill out one set of sheets for each title. PLEASE NOTE each book will have a specific works data sheet. Don’t fill out the wrong sheet.
Students and Parents: What pictures do you want to see in the yearbook? Submit your photos by clicking on the logo. Simply register and upload pictures.
Have a student or staff member you want to wish Happy Birthday? Congratulate? Ask a special question?
The Front Office can help you out. All messages are $10 per message board (inside & out) or $15 for both locations and are subject to Administration's approval.
"A unique character, an inspired or determined risk-taker, forward-looking, creative, eager for change, someone who propels a community in a new direction or who alters the social, cultural, or political landscape."
Parents have the opportunity to view their student's school attendance and grades by signing up for "Active Parent". Registration forms are available by clicking here, in the school office, or during Back to School Night. There is no need to reapply if you have previously signed up for Active Parent. You may access Active Parent by clicking the icon in the banner at the top of the page.
District Report Cards: The 2011-2012 No Child Left Behind Report Cards for the district and individual schools are now online in the Mandated Reports section.
Web Site Accounts: Parents and students may now register for accounts on the district and school web sites. The accounts will allow you to "subscribe" to pages and receive e-mail when the pages have been updated. For example, when a teacher updates his/her page. These accounts, however, do not work with Active Parent. You may register by selecting the "Register" link in the upper-right corner of this site or read more about the different types of accounts that we offer. Once you have created your account, view the guide under the Help menu.
